Thin Vallisneria has green long and narrow leaves somewhat like ribbons, and is a popular aquarium plant due to it's easy care and undemanding needs. Suitable as a background plant, it's leaves grow long. It is a “true aquatic” plant, and needs to be submersed underwater at all times for its reproductive cycle.
